Five of my Favourite……Hand Creams

Summer has long gone, the leaves are falling and the rain has put its wellies on and settled in for the autumn / winter.

The good news is that it is the time where we can snuggle up to our loved ones – holding hands whilst strolling through the park kicking up leaves and cuddling up in front of a fire with a hot chocolate are moments we should savour.

The not so good news is that because of the cold weather and the central heating drying them out, our hands can suffer and therefore are in need of some TLC throughout the winter months.

With this in mind I thought I would let you know what I think are the 5 best hand creams available on the market – and I reckon I’ve found something for everyone!

1.  Clarins Skincare Hand & Nail Treatment Cream 100ml

From one of the world leaders in skincare, this lighweight, non-oily emulsion has been formulated to help protect and moisturise your hands. It is non-sticky, it does not stain and is immediately absorbed. It can help protect your hands against drying effects caused by external factors and should be massaged into the nails as well to strengthen and conditions them.

2. Guinot Longue Vie Mains Multi Action Vital Hand Care 75ml

Restore and enhance the youthful apprearance of your hands with this rejuvenating and regenerating hand cream. Guinot Multi Action Vital Hand Care will restore the softness and suppleness whilst minimising the appearance of brown spots. Guinot Longue Vie Mains also protects your hands from daily attacks and UV rays, keeping your hands looking youthful.40

3.  Decleor Aroma Confort Nourishing and Soothing Hand Cream 250ml Pump

One of my new favourite brands on the market (so expect to hear me go on about them a lot more), Decleor Nourishing Creme is formulated specially for your hands. As you hands are exposed to the element on a daily basis, you need a product that will help your skin replenish its youth and protect and sooth at the same time. It is a non-greasy formula and that leaves you hands satin soft and soothed.. It can help limit signs of ageing and also help reduce excessive perspiration. It is an ideal repair and restore treatment for you hands.

4. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Hand Cream 75ml

You can’t go wrong with Elizabeth Arden – I mean there is a reason why they have been on the market for so long and still remain as one of the front runners – because they are brilliant at what they do. This hand cream has been born out of one of my favourite ranges – it is a fabulous gel cream that moisturises hands up to 8 hours and calms, reconditions dehydrated, rough, cracked skin. It is lightweight & quickly absorbed into skin where it instantaneously softens & comforts leaving your hands smooth, soft & tender.

5.  Yardley English Lavender Hand & Nail Cream 100ml

Yardley London combine innovative skin care ingredients with a superior natural based quality fragrance in this easily absorbed Nourishing Hand & Nail Cream. Containing Q10, shea butter, cocoa butter, grape seed oil and sweet almond oil, this cream is rich in anti-oxidant Vitamin E to help combat the signs of ageing. It leaves hands feeling soft and smooth, whilst conditioning and strengthening nails. Delicately fragranced with Yardley London’s beautiful English Lavender signature scent.

So even if it feels like years since you were lying on the beach without a care in the world, and days since you have seen a blue sky or some sunshine, you can take comfort in knowing that your hands will be soft and smooth and prepared for the winter months ahead.

My other tips for surviving the winter months include homemade hearty stews, wooly jumpers, big fat knitted scarfs and lots of festive favourite treats and presents!

See you very soon, keep warm, lots of love,

Suzanne xXx
