Melinda Messenger is the pinacle of overnight success. In January 1997, she appeared in her underwear for an advert for double glazing in Swindon, which were promptly removed by admirers. She was immediately plucked from her 9-5 job and became an overnight success when The Sun Newspaper named her their Page 3 "Girl for the Thrillenium".
It wasn't long before Melinda started her TV Career, of which she is now in her 12th year. She has become a National favourite and has had what must be the most successful transition from glamour model to TV presenter. More recently Melinda has become the face of Ultimo's new range of D-G cup lingerie. Melinda is a well respected and outspoken advocate of children's rights, and supports many charities: Barnado's, Action Aid, NSPCC amongst others, and has become a role model for working mothers everywhere.
