Alyssa Ashley Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Alyssa Ashley is a French fragrance brand which was founded in the late sixties by the retail company Houbigant. The brand was the invention of master perfumer Luca Maffei who named it after his young daughter. They are mostly known for their musk oils which were very fashionable in the sixties and seventies and they have carried on creating fantastic fragrances to this day.

Many Alyssa Ashley colognes and scents are completely unisex and this has always been part of the brand's identity. In fact, the very first musk oil released by the brand had the symbols for men and women crossed on the packaging to show the scent was meant to be used by everyone. Aside from having a lovely smell on its own, musk is also known for naturally strengthening and extending the longevity of other scents. This product remains the brands top seller. Their first scent which was created just for men was 1999's 4H For Him. This was a musk scent with bergamot, violet leaf, woods and oakmoss. Musk For Men (2001) was a more masculine version of the brands flagship musk oil and featured a generous helping of lemon which lands on a base of powdery wood. Oud Pour Lui (2012) is a more balsamic and woody scent which uses notes of oud wood and incense to create a oriental and smoky experience befitting of true gentlemen. This scent was created by the perfumer behind the original scent, Luca Maffei.

Alyssa Ashley have also released a separate scent collection called Hip Hop which features street-smart scents for both men and women.
