Reminiscence Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Reminiscence started off as a small company located on the French Riviera, a place for tourists and locals to browse for unique jewellery. Nino Amaddeo and Zoé Coste, founders of the brand, came to the conclusion that vision goes hand in hand with the sense of smell. The release of their first men's perfume Patchouli Pour Homme (1970) proved to be a huge success and increased the sales of both their fragrances and jewellery. After reaching a pique in their success in the 80's the two opted to open additional stores in Cannes and Paris. Early 21st century, their products could be found in over 270 alone standing shops. 55% of the companies' revenue is created by the sales of fragrances.

Patchouli Pour Homme is a balsamic fragrance that heavily leans on notes of cedar and patchouli. Released in a comparable bottle, Reminiscence Pour Homme (1999) was created as an ode to the brands name and meaning. The cologne is fresh and sensual with bursting notes of lemon and lavender, combined with an heart of cardamom, clove and coriander.

Zoé sadly passed away in 2007 and the company is now ran by her children Lilla Amaddeo, head of the design office, and Sebastien, leading the jewellery department.
