Salvador Dali Aftershave & Men's Fragrance

Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, Marqués de Dalí de Pubol (better known as just Salvador Dali) was born in Spain in 1904 and passed away in 1989. He was a well known surrealist painter, but had many other projects, such as sculptures, films, and books.

When Salvador was 14 he discovered his love for painting at a summer drawing course. He had his first public exhibition just 3 years later. Pursuing his painting dreams he moved to Madrid in 1922 to study at the famous Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. Salvador first got noticed for his exotic style, but later more for his experiments with Cubism.

After getting expelled from the school in 1926, Salvador chose to move to Paris where he met noted artists of the time like Picasso . It was also here he met the love of his life Gala Eluard, who later became his wife.

Some of Salvador Dali's most famous pieces includes the Mae West Lips Sofa, the paintings "The Persistence of Memory", "Swans Reflecting Elephants" and "Metamorphosis of Narcissus". He has also worked on numerous films, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound, as well as architecture, clothes designs for Christian Dior alongside numerous books, art and photographs.

Gala was not only the love of his life, she was also his inspiration for his first perfume Salvador Dali Parfum that got launched in 1983. His first male fragrance was released in 1987 and was called Salvador Dali Pour Homme, an oriental fragrance. Both women and men fragrances from Salvador Dali has bottles with lips on them – a symbol Salvador Dali often used in his art.
