Alexander McQueen Perfume & Women's Fragrance
Alexander McQueen was born Lee McQueen in the East End of London, on March 17th 1969. At the age of 16 he left school to fulfil his dream of becoming a top designer. In 1992 he opened his own studio in East London and had soon earned himself a reputation for his controversy and shock tactics such as naming his clothes lines “bumsters” and “Highland Rape”. In 1998 he caused a huge stir with a show which included car-robots spraying paint over white cotton dresses and a disabled model striding down the catwalk on intricately carved wooden legs.
He is one of the youngest designers to have achieved the title 'British Designer of the Year' in 1996, 1997 and again in 2001.
Sadly he decided to end his life in February 2010 and is truly missed by friends and family, as well as the fashion industry.
