Antonio Puig Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Antonio Puig S.A. was founded in 1914 and it was dedicated to the perfume and cosmetics sector from the very beginning, but it was not until 1922 that it launched a product made by the company itself called Milady, the first lipstick to be made in Spain. The company is still 100% family owned despite having grown in to a global brand and Antonio's four sons joined the business throughout the years, which eventually saw them inherit their father's business empire.

The company only started working on its future expansion around the 1960's when they built their own laboratories to improve the quality of their products and oversee product development and production themselves, but they still collaborated with other laboratories around the world. There was even a collaboration with Paco Rabanne which coincided with the founding of their first perfume factory in Chartres, France.

The contract signing with Carolina Herrera to create and market all her fragrances was one of the most crucial events to take place during the company's development. The success of this ultimately spread across the fashion industry which then saw the first of a long line of celebrities such as Antonio Banderas and Shakira forming an agreement with Puig for creating their personal fragrances, which in itself prompted further growth and expansion leading to even more brand names such Comme de Garcons joining up with Puig.

Antonio Puig is now an old and well-known perfume house with several distinct women's perfumes and cosmetics in their line-up such as the sumptuously floral and fruity Anouk (1989), the aromatically citrusy Agua de Luna (1998) and the aquatically floral Thais (2000) to name but a few.

Antonio Puig – for the passionate.
