Kate Moss Perfume & Women's Fragrance
She has been described as an accidental icon, Katherine Ann Moss, or Kate Moss as she is better known, managed to become one of the most stylish women on the planet despite her short, flat-chested frame. She was discovered by Storm Model Management in an airport at the age of 14. At 16 she was modelling in her underwear for Calvin Klein which instantly brought her fame taking her from unknown to fashion icon in a very short space of time.
In the late 1990s Kate joined the supermodel gang alongside Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Linda Evangelista thus becoming one of the highest earning top models in the world.
It is not just on the front of a magazine that Kate shines; she is an icon in her own right making items such as the denim cut-off shorts, Ugg boots, ballet flats and skinny jeans popular. She has designed her own clothesline for Topshop, her own line of luxury leather handbags and won the prestigious Vogue/CFDA award from the Fashion Designers of America in July 2005.
Not just a model and fashion designer, but also a shrewd business women. She has appeared in several music videos; co-wrote 4 songs on Babyshambles' second album Shotter's Nation with her then fiancée Pete Doherty; starred in an episode of the British screen comedy Blackadder: Back & Forth as the fictional Queen who looked good naked; starred in films such as Zoolander, Absolutely Fabulous and Inferno! As well as launching her own perfume range.
Speaking of perfumes and Kate Moss, it seems they go hand in hand; her first perfume ad was for Calvin Klein, Obsession for Men which helped her to stardom. Chanel, Burberry, YSL and Bvlgari have also used Kate Moss to front their perfumes, and recently Kate has launched her own perfume ad campaigns. The first one was Kate from 2007. It was a huge success and so the perfume adventure for Kate Moss began. Today she has over 10 fragrances to her name.
Lilabelle from 2011 is for the younger audience; Kate has taken her inspiration from her young daughter Lila Grace. A very sweet and girly scent with a floral heart of white lily, night blooming jasmine and frangipani.
Vintage Muse is another Kate Moss Perfume; it is a luxury and feminine stylish scent. The scent will take you back to the classic 1920s where style, sex appeal and luxury were the name of the game. A sultry and sensual fragrance from Kate Moss that opens with notes of plum, rhubarb and black currant cream which lead you into the floral heart of peony, tiger orchid and purple violets: The base is a perfect mix of gourmand chocolate, ambergris and white musk. Definitely a buy for those who loves everything vintage.
Despite being past 40 Kate Moss is still one of the highest earning top models in the world with a net worth of more than £55 million (2014). Some of this fortune comes from her work with Rimmel of whom she has worked with for more than a decade. Rimmel has said of Kate that she brings her own unique style and stamp of authority and her add campaign for the Rimme Lipstick – Get The London Look are no exception.
Kate also wrote an autobiography, called Kate: The Kate Moss Book. It is a personal retrospective of Kate Moss’s career as well as her personal life.
