Katy Perry Perfume & Women's Fragrance

Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson (better known as Katy Perry) was born in 1984 in Santa Barbara, United States. Her parents are Pentecostal pastors and Katy grew up moving around the country, with her parents church. Through the church Katy Perry discovered her love for music and started singing gospel, because this was the only type of music her parents would allow.

After performing in the church from age 9 to 17, Katy started to pursue a music career and moved to Los Angeles. She soon signed with the record label Red Hill Records and released her first album Katy Hudson in 2001. The album was gospel but did not sell very well, resulting in Perry being dropped by the record label.

After being dropped from another 2 labels Perry finally got her big break when she was signed by Capitol Records in 2007. She released her first hit singles "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold" the same year and her catchy and fun brand of pop made her a star over night.

Touring the world isn't always easy, especially when you love your cats like Katy Perry does! It's not a secret that Katy loves cats more than anything and that is also the reason behind the name and shape of her very first perfume; Katy Perry Purr. The fragrance was released in 2010 and was soon followed by the second fragrance of the Katy Perry Perfumes series; Meow (2011). Perry followed this with the best selling fragrance of her entire range; Killer Queen. This perfume was inspired by the Queen song of same name, Perry being a huge fan of the band. It is a beautiful sweet and fruity fragrance in a striking ruby-shaped bottle. The Killer Queen perfume line has been continued with several flankers, including the floral Oh So Sheer (2014) , the creamy and fresh Royal Revolution (2014) and the powdery and delicate Spring Reign (2015). All the Katy Perry Killer Queen perfumes features the diamond-shaped bottle design in different colours.
